My name is Lara Fabian– I’m an archaeologists and post-doctoral researcher on the BaSaR project at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (not to be confused with the singer of the same name). I study the archaeology of the South Caucasus during the Roman and Arsacid Parthian periods, and the so-called Sarmatians. Here, I’ll be exploring some of the strands of my research.
